To install openjdk instead of Oracle jdk, you can use pkg manager
$sudo yum install -y java-1.7.0-openjdk-devel
the pkg manager will install it under, /usr/lib/jvm/java-1.7.0, and you can set your JAVA_HOME variable in your $HOME/.bash_profile such as
JAVA_HOME=/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.7.0;export JAVA_HOME
$sudo yum install -y java-1.7.0-openjdk-devel
